These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Bible Reader mobile application ("the App"). By downloading or using the App, you agree to these Terms.

1. The service

Bible Reader provides daily Bible verses, prayers, affirmations, an offline Bible reader, home-screen widgets, and related devotional tools, including an optional AI Bible chat. Bible text uses public-domain translations (World English Bible and Reina-Valera 1909). The App works primarily offline; some features (such as ads and the AI chat) require an internet connection.

2. Acceptable use

You agree to use the App for personal, non-commercial devotional purposes. You will not attempt to reverse-engineer, resell, or misuse the App or its content, nor use it in any unlawful way.

3. Subscriptions and purchases

The App offers an optional Premium subscription (monthly or yearly) and a one-time lifetime purchase, processed through Google Play Billing.

• Payment is charged to your Google Play account at confirmation of purchase.
• Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
• You can manage or cancel subscriptions in your Google Play account settings.
• A free trial, where offered, converts to a paid subscription unless cancelled before it ends. Any unused portion of a free trial is forfeited upon purchasing a subscription.
• Except where required by law, payments are non-refundable; refund requests are handled by Google Play under its policies.

4. Advertising

The free version of the App displays advertisements served by Google AdMob. Premium removes ads.

5. AI Bible chat

The AI Bible chat generates responses automatically and may occasionally be inaccurate or incomplete. It is limited to spiritual and Scripture-related topics. Responses are for personal reflection and are not a substitute for professional, medical, legal, or pastoral advice.

6. Content and accuracy

We strive for accuracy but provide the App's content "as is." Devotional and any AI-generated material is for personal reflection and is not a substitute for professional, medical, legal, or pastoral advice.

7. Intellectual property

The App's design, branding, and original content are owned by the developer. Public-domain Scripture translations are not subject to these ownership claims.

8. Disclaimer and limitation of liability

The App is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, the developer is not liable for any indirect or consequential damages arising from your use of the App.

9. Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
